Pythagoras and Numerology
The roots of the numerology system we use today are largely based on the ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras. For Pythagoras, numbers were not just tools for counting; they were the language of the universe.

How Does the Pythagorean System Work?
In the Pythagorean system, each letter corresponds to a number between 1 and 9. The letters of the name are summed and reduced to a single digit to find the Destiny Number; the digits of the birth date are summed to find the Life Path Number.
This simple yet profound method forms the basis for reading a person's innate tendencies, strengths, and the lessons they need to overcome.
Why Is It Still Important?
Pythagoras' legacy has evolved through different cultures over centuries and reached us today. Modern numerology uses this ancient method as a mirror for self-knowledge—not to know the future definitively, but to live one's own pattern consciously.
